ELEVATOR PITCH
Gathering .NET coders, hackers, enthusiasts, evangelists, and experts to meet and discuss about all areas of the Microsoft .NET platform.
WHO SHOULD JOIN
Fulltime .NET practitioners only (no recruiters please!).
BENEFITS
Show off your work to peers.
Get to know other smart developers.
Bounce around ideas and discuss trends.
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
Rather than coming to *watch*, you should join this meetup to *participate*. It's about sharing war stories; comparing tools and architectures; discussing the pros and cons of the latest tools and technologies; and generally a place to keep on top of the latest developments.
WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN ...
... the London .NET User Group? That group (which I'm a big fan of!) focuses on top speakers, free product giveaways, and great community networking. We're different in that, as a Meetup, we're entirely community-focused. We don't focus on bringing in top speakers, and I wouldn't expect a lot of giveaways (there might be a bit of networking). Rather, we bring practicing, professional .NET developers together face-to-face every month, in a forum where we get to know each other up close.
Udi Dahan, one of the leading experts on SOA, Web Services, Reliability, Availabilty and Scalability and project lead of NServiceBus, is coming to London to give his popular course on Advanced Distributed Systems Design with SOA at Skills Matter.
While he's here, London .NET User Group and Skills Matter have co-organised a free evening talk by Udi for him share his thoughts on enterprise computing with the community! Read more
This group doesn't have any additional upcoming Meetups scheduled.
